Located in Northern Alabama, Cider Shoals is named for its shallow, brownish creek (or Shoal) that runs by it's clubhouse and a few holes. I tried to break a little out of my comfort zone with the coloring on this course, as the cider theme continues with the tan deep rough and long grasses mixed in this otherwise parkland style course. The course comes in at a classic par 72, 7540 yards (from back tees). The first hole may be the toughest hole and the last hole the easiest, but there is a mixture of easy and hard holes so it plays to all skill levels.
