Located near Savanna, Georgia, Mulberry Grove Plantation has a famous history, including Eli Whitney creating the cotton gin there. I found a space on the sprawling plantation to place 18 carefully crafted holes that weave throughout the marshland. You'll see water potentially come into play on all 18 holes. Beware the high marsh bulrush weeds, water always lurks below their grassy tops. 18 water holes sounds like a brute, but the routing is fair and just. The back tees are 7400 yards (par 72), but the other tees offer up 6630 and 7035 yards as well.
