Warwick Hills

Located in Grand Blanc, Michigan, Warwick Hills was designed by Joe Lee in 1957.  It hosted the PGA's Buick Open for most years between 1958 and 2009.  It now hosts the Ally Championship on the Senior Tour.

I grew up playing this course, so I recreated it in TGC 1, TGC 2 and then 2019.  This version I used lidar and started fresh.  Since I last played the course around 2000, the course has had a lot of trees grow up, and lot more removed.  While it still has a lot of trees, it is more open than before.

It is not a long course, coming in at over 7100 yards with a classic par 72.  The most challenging part of the course may be the greens.  They tend to be large and have a good deal of undulations.

I wanted to add the tournament buildings and fans and even cars in the parking lot, but alas I ran out of memory and object meter.  Regardless, I believe this to be a relatively true representation of the course.

Here is a general overview of the L shaped layout.  There are lots of parallel holes, typical of an older design.
